Leslie Michael "Mike" Fultz, 66, Milton, WI, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 27, 2010, at Mercy Hospital. He was born on Dec. 11, 1943, in Pomeroy, OH, son of the late Leslie & Phyllis (Duerr) Fultz. He was married to Martha E. McCall in Maryville, TN, in July, 1998. Mike was employed as the General Manager at Maywood Race Track, Maywood, IL, and previously had been employed by the Regional Transit Authority (RTA) for the State of Illinois. He was an expert on pens, and held the largest collection of Parker Pens outside of the company. Mike was a part-owner of the Bexley Pen Co., and he was a major contributor to the Sachs-Fultz Pen Collection. His collections and expertise also included watches, and he was renowned throughout the world for his collections and knowledge! He had designed many styles of pens, and had written numerous articles for trade publications in the pen and pencil industry. He was a true man of knowledge in history, and was an active volunteer with the Milton House and also the Milton College Preservation Society.
He is survived by his wife, Martha McCall of Milton; his two sisters, Cathy (Alan) Telzrow of Hudson, OH, and Terri (Marty) Boaz of Minneapolis, MN; and by nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Fultz.
